Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update: 

The Brooklyn Center Community Center is now open by reservation!

 Fitness room sessions, Lap swim and Recreational swim sessions are available by the hour and can be reserved online at webtrac.cityofbrooklyncenter.org/ or over the phone by calling
 763-569-3400. 

Here’s what we are doing to help keep you safe:

• We are limiting facility capacity. To ensure enough space for social distancing, we’re only allowing a certain number of people in at one time. This means you will have to reserve a time to enter.  
• We are practicing social distancing. We ask that you stay six feet apart from other members. 
• We are cleaning frequently. While the facility is open, we are sanitizing all equipment and surfaces with disinfectant in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines. We are also deep cleaning the facility every night.
• We are providing self-cleaning stations. These will be conveniently located throughout the facility with easy, readily available equipment disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer.
• We are wearing face masks, and members and visitors are required to wear a face mask or face covering when in our facilities — for your own health and safety, as well as the safety of others.

Please call us if you are going to miss your reservation.  If you are going to miss your reservation to work out or swim, please let us know in advance.  If you miss three reservations without notifying the community center, privileges to reserve time could be revoked.

We are asking for your help. Please use your best judgment. If you’re not feeling well, have a fever or other flu-like symptoms, we ask that you stay home.

The health and safety of our employees and patrons is our top priority.  While even though we are open for the public to use the facility by reservation, we understand that many might not be comfortable coming in to utilize the aspects of the facility that are open. Due to this, we are more than happy to place one’s membership on hold for the time being or issue a pro-rated refund. 

With all of its amenities and affordable rates, the Community Center is a popular recreational destination for all ages. Amenities include:

• 50 meter indoor swimming pool   
• 150' water slide (Closed)
• Zero depth entry wading pool (Closed)
• Diving boards (Unavailable)
• Exercise room
• Family changing rooms
• Locker rooms (Closed)
• Sauna (Closed)
• SilverSneakers® & Silver&Fit® fitness location

Insurance reimbursement for memberships now offered at the Brooklyn Center Community Center through NIHCA

Adult members of the Brooklyn Center Community Center may participate and can receive up to a $20 reimbursement of monthly membership dues

Reimbursement is offered through multiple health insurance providers, determine eligibility and enroll online at NIHCArewards.org or in person at the Brooklyn Center Community Center: 6301 Shingle Creek Parkway.
