License Categories / Types
License Category Criteria Policy
Brooklyn Center has a performance-based
rental license category criteria policy. License categories are based on the condition of the property as noted during the health and safety inspection and the past year’s record of compliance with public nuisance laws (City Code Chapter 12-911.) Please note that for a new rental license, the disorderly conduct/public nuisance compliance record does not apply.
