The best available guidance: 

• Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds
• Cover your cough and sneeze. Cough or sneeze into the crook of your arm
• Avoid touching your face with unwashed hands
• Stay home when you're sick
• Put distance (at least 6 feet) between yourself and other people when in public.

COVID-19 Telehealth Program

The COVID-19 Telehealth Program will provide $200 million in funding, appropriated by Congress as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, to help health care providers provide connected care services to patients at their homes or mobile locations in response to the novel Coronavirus 2019 disease (COVID-19) pandemic.  The Program will provide immediate support to eligible health care providers responding to the COVID-19 pandemic by fully funding their telecommunications services, information services, and devices necessary to provide critical connected care services until the program’s funds have been expended or the COVID-19 pandemic has ended.

Note that the COVID-19 Telehealth Program is limited to nonprofit and public eligible health care providers that fall within the categories of health care providers in section 254(h)(7)(B) of the 1996 Act.  

Disaster Mental/Behavioral Health and Emergency Preparedness
A range of mental health and chemical abuse (behavioral health) problems may surface in the early stages of an emergency situation.  These may continue to emerge among the public and among professionals who respond to an event. Addressing these concerns improves the emergency response and the health of the whole community.
