The Brooklyn Center Women’s Club was organized in 1966 and is sponsored by the Community Activities, Recreation and Services Department.

The purpose of the Women’s Club is to promote social, cultural, and civic activities. Meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month, September through May at the Community Center. The meetings are followed by a program, either educational or entertaining, after which refreshments are served. Trips are planned throughout the year at a nominal cost to members.

Each year the club awards one or more college scholarships to a deserving Brooklyn Center resident senior girl selected from one of the northern suburban high schools.
