Station Tours and Truck Visits
The Fire Department provides fire safety education and fire truck visits for events in Brooklyn Center. This service is provided free of charge and the goal is to provide fire safety education to the citizens and businesses of Brooklyn Center.

To schedule an event, please call the Public Fire Education Division.  Please leave both your day and evening phone numbers for our Public Fire Safety Education Officer to return your call.

Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm Program
The Brooklyn Center Fire Department is teaming up with the Firefighters Relief Association and H.O.M.E. to provide a free smoke alarm and carbon monoxide alarm to each household with a resident 60 years of age and older, and one smoke alarm to each household with residents under 60 years of age. 

As part of the program, a firefighter will visit with you at your home and determine your alarm needs. Please complete the Request Form to schedule your visit.  After we receive your form, we will call you to set up an appointment.
