Arbor Day Tree Sale
April 22, 2018

Centennial Park - South Lot (behind Amphitheater)
In celebration of Arbor Day, the City will be offering bare root trees at wholesale prices to residents of Brooklyn Center. Trees will be on a first order basis, with a limit of three trees per household, and must be pre-paid. There will be no refunds for trees that are not picked up on April 22, 2018. Placing an Order

Call 763-569-3300 to pay via credit card; or stop in at City Hall, 6301 Shingle Creek Parkway, Brooklyn Center, MN 55430.      

Picking Up Your Tree
* Bring Arbor Day reminder post card, sales receipt or drivers license.
* Bring a vehicle large enough to hold your tree.
* For best results trees will need to be planted the same day they are picked up.

Call Before You Dig
Have underground utilities located in your yard before you dig. Contact Gopher State One call at 651-454-0002 at least two working days in advance.

About Bare Root Trees

The trees will be sold in bare root form. The average caliper size of these trees is 1 to 1.5 inches with an average height of 8 to 10 feet. For best results these trees will need to be planted the same day they are picked up. 

Price and Ordering Details
The cost per tree is between $30 and $50 depending on the species.
* Trees are on a first order basis. 
* Trees must be pre-paid. 
* Limit three trees per Brooklyn Center household. 
* Orders received after April 10, 2018, may not be accepted or filled, due to a limited supply.

No Refunds or Replacements

The City does not assume responsibility for the successful transplanting of these trees. Weather conditions, methods of handling and aftercare govern the results. Trees will be sold with the understanding that if they arrive in good condition and are accepted, the City's responsibility ceases. Therefore, we do not give out refunds or replace trees that fail.
