I-94 Improvements
Mn/DOT I-94 Improvements Affecting Brooklyn Center
I-94 between Shingle Creek Parkway in Brooklyn Center and Nicollet Avenue in Minneapolis is getting some much needed attention. The project consists of nine miles of roadway resurfacing and 50 different bridges to be repaired, with a timeline of two years intermittent construction. There will be significant traffic impacts including lane reductions and road closure, with most notable in Brooklyn Center being the closure of southbound Highway 252 south of I-694.
