Hours
Monday - Friday
8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Each week a different City topic and operation will be explored.  Participants will receive an inside look at  various departments and their operations, and the role these operations play within the City. The weekly topics will include:
  • Assessing/Property Assessments
  • Business and Development/Planning
  • Capital Projects
  • City Clerk and Elections
  • City Council and City Manager
  • Communications
  • Community Activities Recreation Services
  • Community Standards 
  • Engineering
  • Finance and Budgeting
  • Liquor Stores
  • Police and City Attorney
  • Public Works
  • Utilities
 
Classes will be held Wednesday's from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, starting in March.

Register for BCU by February 14, 2016
The course will be limited to 20 participants so you are encouraged to apply early. There is a $25 tuition fee to help pay for course materials and expenses. Applications are due by February 19 at 4:30 pm. Applicants will be notified after the deadline if they have been selected to participate in BCU.
