Freeway Park Area Reconstruction Project
Project Update
Construction is complete with the exception of various punch list items. The Contractor is required to provide a warranty on all work for one year from the date of acceptance of the project.

Thanks to all of you for your patience and understanding throughout this process!  It is our hope and intent that the improvements in the neighborhood, combined with previous, existing and future improvements throughout the City, will provide a strong and healthy long term economic base for the entire City and will renew a sense of community and neighborhood pride.

Full street reconstruction with concrete curb and gutter
Storm sewer replacement
Sanitary sewer replacement
Partial water main replacement

          After hours - call 911 (the dispatcher will contact the appropriate on-call service

Project Schedule
November 2014 - Neighborhood information meeting to be held

December 2014 - City Council receives feasibility report, declares costs to  be assessed and calls for public hearing

January 2015 - City Council holds public hearing, authorizes the project and orders preparation of plans and specifications

March 2015 - City Council approves plans and specifications and authorizes the advertisement for bids

May 2015 - Start project construction

October 2015 - Construction substantially complete
