This is a cool activity that Brooklyn Center offers to youth ages 7-11. The kids will use a fire truck water hose, check out an emergency vehicle, learn how to protect your noggin and more! Meet firefighters, police officers, emergency staff; learn how to be safe. They'll need to bring swimsuit and towel on Tuesday for swimming and bring their bike on Wednesday. Parents, please plan to attend graduation ceremony and dinner on Wednesday at 5:00 pm.

Hey, youth in grades 7-12! Are you and your friends looking for something to do this summer? You’re invited to drop by for open gym. Round up your friends or meet someone new on the court for a game of basketball, volleyball, kickball, or dodge-ball - choose a game and have fun! This program is supervised by Brooklyn Center Recreation and the Police Department staff. IT'S FREE and we are meeting on Thursday's (June 13 - August 22, 2019) from 4:00-6:00 pm at the Brooklyn Center High School (BCHS) "Blue Barn" Youth Rec Center. There will be no open gym held on June 20 (parade) and July 4 (holiday).
